The Alpine Cabin was a really fun project for us because of the cross section of custom millwork and furniture that we built for it.

The kitchen’s shaker style cabinetry and island were designed and built by Union Wood Co. Natural oak warms up the kitchen in the floating shelves above the stove, island panels (that hide a bar), and a Parson-style extension table off the island.

To highlight the cabin’s heritage styling, a reclaimed wood barn door tucks away the cabin’s laundry room. In the powder room, a live edge vanity gives the space an organic focal point. To maximize the number of beds, the two guest rooms are outfitted with built-in natural oak bunk beds—one with a trundle bed and the other with additional storage.
